SIDNEY CROSBY: Canada’s Gold and Pittsburgh’s Glory

a book cover and spreads inspired by Sidney Crosby and his accomplishments

"Sidney Crosby: Canada’s Gold and Pittsburgh’s Glory" celebrates the remarkable career of a hockey legend. From his clutch Olympic gold-winning goal to leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to Stanley Cup victories, this book tells the story of a player who’s left an indelible mark on the game. Designing this book was a joy—I worked to create a cover and layouts that mirror Crosby’s excellence and the pride he’s brought to fans worldwide.

This was a design I created for a brief given in Introduction to Book Design, a course I took for my Certificate in Publishing from the Chang School of Continuing Education at TMU.

Below you can find the full front cover, spine and back cover, as well as some of the images from the spreads and a button to view the whole book.

with golden moments like the goal heard around the world and championship glory in Pittsburgh, Crosby’s story is one of triumph and inspiration.

my design work for this book, from the bold cover to the dynamic layouts, celebrates his legacy with the same passion he brings to the ice.
