Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Cover Redesigns

a few cover designs to put Frankenstein into a different genre, I chose inspiration from

Romantasy

Some things that went into the design:

  • I loved the thought of the “creation hands” and what it could mean for the story of Frankenstein

  • If the background was a bit too loud, I focused more on what could be the “romance” aspect and added more pink and purples but keeping with the source of power at the centre to give it a fantasy buzz or glow.

above: 3 alternate cover designs at the beginning of the process when I was deciding on which genre and twist on the story I could create.
